We’re pleased to share that work will begin on the second community pool at the Jerome Village Community Center in September. You’ll see initial work beginning this spring to expand the fence area and grounds around the existing pool and facilities to accommodate the growth.

The ~$1M project will significantly expand capacity with 125,000 more gallons of fun and will add flexibility for other recreational and fitness activities. The new pool will even provide the opportunity to add a Jerome Village swim team and host competitions if there is sufficient interest from residents to support a team.

Construction on the second pool will not impact our upcoming pool season as the excavation work will begin at the close of the 2023 pool season. The greatly expanded facility will be ready for your enjoyment at the start of the 2024 pool season.

Upon completion, the pool will include steps, ladders, handrails, ADA mounted lift, safety equipment and signage, starting blocks, lifeguard chairs, lounge chairs, umbrellas and more as expected for a facility of this size and quality.
